It wouldn’t be Metal March without a Killswitch, now, would it?
I was first turned onto this band in 2005 by my then roommate, who included this track on a mix CD he gave me to ease my drives to work.
The most distinctive thing about this band has always been, to me, the soaring vocals of Howard Jones. Unfortunately, it looks like he left the band a year or three ago, so I have no idea how they sound now. His powerful singing always seemed to be the band’s trademark to me.
While I don’t know how they sound now, I sure know how they sound on this track, so turn it up and blow some speakers out.
