Creed is a solid movie. Not my favorite or anything, but it’s a decent movie in its own right. That said, this particular Fighting February recommendation is due solely to the fight shown here.
Obviously, the thing that makes this scene so awesome is that it’s done in a single take. I’m amazed at how fluid the camera work is, and how they manage to keep the angles correct to properly frame the punches. I can’t even imagine how much work this took to rehearse. Shots like these are really impactful, and everyone here does a great job.
Props to Jordan here. The guy is in insane shape and does a great job selling himself as a fighter.
