We all know that Diablo II is arguably the greatest action RPG ever made. I started playing it the day it launched during my freshman year of college, and while I’ve taken breaks over the years, eventually, you’d always find yourself going back for another few runs.
The gameplay is fast and simple enough, but also with enough depth and interesting gear combinations to allow you to make some challenging and creative setups if you want to push yourself.
Diablo II Resurrected was and is an absolute godsend. The game has been updated for modern hardware and features a complete facelift. The graphics and sound have been overhauled and updated, and the team has even added new items and features to the game.
Small additions like Terror Zones – a new rotating mechanic that scales maps up your level, giving you entire new endgame locations to run – really change up the entire game and make it delightfully fresh. After having played for 20+ years, these small changes have really made the game feel new again, and once more, I can’t stop playing!
If you’ve ever enjoyed a Diablo game, you should be giving this a try!
